I NEVER KNEW YOU | Understanding the Context for Holy and Profane.

Updated: 6 days ago

SU November 2, 2024 | 5:00am

I start this study with a prayer, please agree with me:

Heavenly Father, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, I beseech you now in the name of Yeshua (Jesus) that you would hear my prayer and give clear understanding to whom this study is meant.  For your Holy name’s sake, I pray that what you do here is your work and your word, inspired and true by the power of the Holy Spirit that you have given your people; your beloved. Prepare the hearts of the reader by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and let your truth prevail in the hearts of your beloved. Amen, Amen

Then Moses said unto Aaron, this is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace."

Leviticus 10:3

This is not a scripture that I have heard any preachers teach on in my entire time as a Christian, this is the premise of our study today.  What was happening that the LORD clarified himself to Aaron by Moses?  This is the story of Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu Aaron’s two eldest sons.

10 Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered strange fire before Yahweh, which he had not commanded them. Fire came out from before Yahweh, and devoured them, and they died before Yahweh.

It was and still is of the utmost importance that God’s people know the difference between what is acceptable to God that is to say Holy before Him and what is not, so much so that these two sons of Aaron lost their lives.  God never changes we know this because He himself has stated as much:

For I am Yehovah, I change not: therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.  Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them.  Return unto me and I will return unto you, saith the Yehovah of hosts.

Malachi 3:6, 7

For many years as a young Christian, I had no idea what was Holy or common (profane) as I have aged and studied the Torah, (The first 5 books of the bible or the Law of Moses) I have discovered what is acceptable to God and what is not.  One can only discover these things by hearing God’s word from the beginning.  God makes it clear in Malachi that returning to Him means returning to His Torah.  And yet in churches all over the world Pastors and bible teachers are teaching the children of God that the Torah, that which they only refer to as the Old Testament or the Law has been fulfilled by Jesus and so we don’t have to pay attention to it or keep it.  This is the biggest lie the devil could ever concoct.  Another scripture that paints a clear picture has to do with our relationship with God and is in the New Testament.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Matthew 7:21-23

Jesus reveals that there will be people who appear to be his people because they prophesy in His name, cast out devils in His name and do many wonderful works.  And, yet He will profess that He never knew them, why?  Because they work iniquity.  So, what is iniquity?

First off, I’d like to point out how unfair these statements seem.  If you really think about what Jesus is saying (in contrast to the grace message) it’s just outright unbelievable.  He’s saying that there are people who consider themselves believers and even have evidence of being believers because they are doing things He did in His ministry on earth.  Think about it, if you saw someone prophesying in the name of Jesus and casting out demons you would be convinced that this was a disciple and follower of Jesus, but according to Jesus himself some of this type of people will be rejected by him for being workers of iniquity and by implication do not know him.

iniquity /ĭ-nĭk′wĭ-tē/

noun

1.     Gross immorality or injustice; wickedness.

2.     A grossly immoral act; a sin.

3.     Absence of, or deviation from, just dealing; lack of rectitude or uprightness; gross injustice; unrighteousness; wickedness.

How does the bible define iniquity?  There are two words commonly used for Iniquity, the first in Hebrew “Awon” (Strongs #5771) its basic meaning is crookedness or perverseness, and also; to err or go astray.  In the New Testament, the word used is “Anomia” (Strongs #458) which translates as; the condition of one without law or lawlessness.  In my (as of yet unpublished) book Shadows of Men, I share my own definition of the concept of iniquity as follows:

"Iniquity is the bondage of un-forgiveness from God because we make excuses for our sin. We then become bound (chained) to our sins because we do not acknowledge them as sins. That sin them becomes a curse to the bloodline and passed down...Iniquity.

You could also look at the word phonetically.  Iniquity sounds like “in equity,” equity is a word that means justice so in-equity would mean without justice.  So, whether we were wronged by someone or wronged ourselves through sin there is no justice, especially if we are incapable of or unwilling to see and acknowledge our sins, much less repent."

The Church is the Commonwealth of Israel

If one was to err or go astray it is because there is a law or instruction to go astray from, in this case the Covenant of God given through Moses.  The word Torah literally translates to Instruction.  The Torah is God’s Covenant with His people and within it are His instructions, often referred to as His Commandments, Statutes and Judgments (Ordinances).

My spiritual walk is rooted in the Apostolic & Pentecostal tradition, so I know that these church organizations, the world over, strongly believe and promote Deuteronomy 6:4-9, that states that God is One and this is true and right.  What I wasn’t taught however, are the verses that precede that:

“Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments which the Lord (Yehovah) your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it,

that thou mightest fear the Lord (Yehovah) thy God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life, and that thy days may be prolonged.

Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it, that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord (Yehovah) God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord (Yehovah) our God is one Lord.

The first main hurdle in understanding here, is the question every sincere believer asks themselves at some point in their walk with God and that is: Should I keep the Laws of God?  Are Gods people to keep His “commandments, statutes and judgments,” these instructions He commanded to be taught to each generation.  That we might fear (respect) the LORD our God, and pass them onto each generation after us.  What are the benefits for His people if we keep these instructions?

(1) That our days may be prolonged

(2) That it would be well with us

(3) That we may increase mightily

This leads me to briefly speak about “replacement theology.”  The idea that because the Jews (allegedly) rejected Jesus as the Messiah, God rejected them.  After Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, the apostles (who were Israelites i.e., Jews), saw that God was moving toward the gentiles. Did God create another situation altogether, rejecting Israel as His chosen people and turn to the gentiles?  The answer is NO, this is also a big fat lie concocted by the adversary.  The first “Church” a word that is derived from the Hebrew word Kehillah which means Assembly, was mostly made up of Jewish believers; followers of Jesus, whom they knew as Yeshua.  They followed Yeshua because He kept the Torah, clarified the Torah, and was confirmed by whom He himself called, “Father,” with many signs, wonders and miracles.  Replacement theology is exactly what this study in itself refutes in all that I am sharing through scripture.

The scripture teaches, even in the Torah itself, the idea of being grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel (as the Apostle James put it).  The best way I can explain what that means is by using the idea of “common-law’ as it relates to us today.  If a man and a woman are together, exclusively and they stay together, even if they don’t have a formal marriage ceremony for seven years, they are considered married by common-law.  Common-law marriage is similar to a Common-wealth.  If a sojourner or foreigner decides to follow the God of Israel, he can:

“When a foreigner resides with you in your land, you must not oppress him. You must treat the foreigner living among you as native-born and love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.…”

Leviticus 19:33-34

There is actually a specific term for this person in the Hebrew, he is a Ger which means itinerate or wonderer i.e., sojourner and this is where we get our word Stranger, StranGer – Estrange + Ger, the plural being Gerim, which is to say immigrant(s).  Estrange representing the way a person(s) was cut off, or exiled from a larger group, thus becoming a Ger, i.e., itinerate/wonderer.

The nation of Israel was instructed to treat these people as native-born, but they too were required to keep the Commandments, Statutes and Judgments; the Laws of the God of Israel while living among them.  If these strangers among them were also required to keep the Law of Moses they were also taught Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

In Hebrew there is a word for these passages of scripture.  In the Jewish world they are known as the Shema, because Shema is the first word and it means to Hear and Obey, or Hear and Do.  These passages are most important to all Israelites that grew up practicing Judaism.  Now, Judaism as a religion has itself gone astray because the Rabbinic Orthodoxy that leads it has added to and taken away from God’s word so much that they are not practicing the Torah by itself as God also commanded, they are practicing added laws.

"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."

Deut. 4:2

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.  Rev. 22:18, 19

What good is hearing if we are not doing?  And what good is knowing God is ONE if we are not obeying Him?  And this is the crux of what I am transmitting by this study.

We have to understand the context of why God gave us the Torah in written form.  Did people know the Laws of God before the Law of Moses?  Did Adam and Eve know about Gods’ Laws?  It is evident throughout Genesis that they did know certain aspects of the written law of God.  They knew what an acceptable offering was; they knew what animals were clean and what were unclean; even Noah and his sons knew.  They knew what kind of altar was acceptable to God?  And maybe at that time that was all they needed to know.  But when the world became corrupted God had to destroy it all.  The context of the corruption is what all believers need to understand.  How was the world corrupted?  For context I will have to give you more than a verse or two.

6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Genesis 6:1-13

How was it “that all flesh had corrupted his way?”  This information is not given in the bible itself, but the book of Enoch describes just what happened.  And because the above information IS included in the Bible it stands to reason that the events described in the books of Enoch and Jubilees Did happen.  How can we understand why God did what He did, or chose to tell us to know what was Holy and what was profane unless we understand the whole story?

I understand the Christian attitude and reluctance to read anything outside of scripture.  I can assure you it was difficult for me for many years to even consider it.  I have been studying non-canonical books since around 2017, but I have been learning the Torah as the Torah since 2008.  I learned of Apocryphal and Pseudo-Apocryphal books back in 2012, but refused to consider reading them even though I knew other brethren that did.  Cautiously and Prayerfully I began to read them starting with the Book of Jasher, then Jubilees, then the books of Enoch.  I’ve since read the Dead Sea Scrolls, The Gospel of Thomas, The book of Nicodemus and many others.  Now I understand clearly that there is an active effort and agenda to keep the children of God from the truth and the reality and true nature of creation.

Evidence of Hybrid Creatures in the Bible

Did you know that a Mermaid is in the Bible?  More precisely it’s a Mer-man not a maid.  His name is Dagon.  God himself made it clear that this idol was despised.  Why?  Is this evidence that Mer-people existed?  Yes!  Clearly, they did, but how?

And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.  When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.  And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.  And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.  Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.  But the hand of the Lord was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods (Hemorrhoids), even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.  And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.  1 Sam 5 1-7

Mer-people were an abomination to God, these creatures were half human and half fish.  Before the flood this was a big part of how flesh had become corrupted.  God created humans, but according to the book of Enoch the fallen angels a.k.a., Watchers, spawned the giants and other fowl creatures.

The Torah teaches what acceptable sexual relations are by expressly forbidding what is not acceptable.  Why would God do this unless it had been a problem before?  One of those things forbidden is humans mating with animals.  And throughout history, there are those that do such things.  But before the flood this became a thing that was propagated by the fallen angels and likely humans.  In what is called Greek “mythology” the Greeks and other peoples around the world believed these things to be true, this was their belief system, their religion.  They worshipped the Gods; plural.  This is why God always insisted that He was the only God, that He created everything by himself, there is no other.  So, what’s missing?  There seems to be a lot, and history has been altered in order to hide the truth.

Now-a-days, if you tried to mate two different species the off-spring die, or are sterile, why is that?  Because God had to intervene, before the flood this was not so, the fallen angels were messing with everything, and so were humans who followed their example.  The fallen angels may have even had certain knowledge that allowed them to alter God’s creation.  Remember I am talking about context, why did God have to establish understanding of what was Holy and what was unholy or profane.  Earlier I gave you scriptural proof in the KJV that reveals that mer-people had to have existed.  Dagon was a Philistine God, where did the Philistines live?  Right on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. If Mer-people lived before the flood how do we come to have history of them?  One of the areas that God’s flood judgment left untouched was the sea and sea life.

"And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."

God doesn’t mention destroying anything in the waters of the earth and this may have been how the Mer-people survived for generations after the flood.  But, they were still an abomination to God especially the surviving memory of them after they died off (if they died off) because the Philistines saw them as gods, created and idol and worshipped it.  This became a potential snare to God’s righteous or uncorrupted seed.  You see God’s fight hasn’t just been for our hearts, but for a pure uncorrupted bloodline of His own creation.  Christianity doesn’t want to talk about bloodlines because it’s the dispensation of grace, but talking about a pure bloodline is talking about context.  Why did God choose out a people for himself and then proceed to instruct His people to slaughter the Canaanites?

"Completely destroy them - the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites - as the LORD your God has commanded you."

What were these nations doing that could have ignited God’s disdain to destroy them completely?  First, God clearly told His people they were not to do what Egypt or Canaan did.

18 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.

After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.

Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord. -Lev 18:3-5

The following verses follow directly after the verses above, and relate to sexual misconduct I bolded some words I put in parentheses to clarify what's being said:

None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord (Yehovah).

The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness (Incest).

11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness (Incest).

12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman (Incest).

13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman (Incest)…

20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech (Abortion), neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination (Sodomy).

23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion (Beastiality).

24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.

Are these scriptures applicable today?  According to the majority of Pastors and church leaders they are not, but why?  If God says to be Holy because He is Holy why would these scriptures be spoken of as only for Jews, or as if the Law (Torah) was done away with; as they so often teach and preach.  The reality is that nobody understands the greater context of why God did what He did when He destroyed the world with the flood, or why He had the Israelites wipe out whole peoples.  This is one of those things that the Catholic church, secret societies, and even governments don’t want the masses to know.  And that is that humanity was corrupted spiritually and genetically; and still is.  To a great extent ancient history is manufactured or relegated to myth.

A lot of people like to watch Ancient Alien broadcast on the History channel, and most people fall for the narratives that are being propagated by these many so-called experts as true.  Some of the ideas in them are true, because Satan always mixes lies with truth.  If you really listen to their word choices you can clearly see that their premise is speculation.  They use phrases like, “could it be?” “what if” or other words like, theory, idea, speculate.  Some of them even admit that they don’t know, that they are just speculating.  These documentaries live in the realm of speculation and it always has to do with some alien race coming from the stars and creating mankind, that narrative is the deception. When the truth being concealed is the real history that has been as I said before, “relegated to myth” within the books of Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher and many others.

The only way anyone can truly see the truth is if you actually read the bible as the Bible itself instructs us to do.  We are to pass it on to our children.  God literally tells us what is going to be happening in the last days, and the instructions given within the pages of the Torah teach us the ways that will allow us to survive.

The Book End of the Old Testament | God Says Keep the Torah

In the Book of Malachi Abba makes it clear that if we are to return we must return to Him and that means to Torah observance.

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 3:7

“Remember the Law (Torah) of my servant Moses to whom at Horeb I prescribed laws and customs for the whole of Israel.  Know that I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before my day comes, that great and terrible day.  He shall turn the hearts of the fathers toward their children and the hearts of the children toward their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a curse.”

Malachi 4:4

This preceding passage ends the “Old Testament” and according to the passage itself, it is not and end but a reminder to “Remember the Torah of my servant Moses…” We are being instructed to Remember it, just like in the 4th command we are instructed to remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy, this is a matter of decisive action.  Many times, in scripture God instructs us to remember, not just as a memorial, what good is it to memorialize God’s word and not obey it?  What I refer to as the the pledge of allegiance to Yehovah that we as Pentecostal/Apostolic people (the Commonwealth of Israel, Eph. 2:12) keep and teach our children; the Shema – Deut. 6:4-9, is a command to Hear and Obey!  Not Hear only.

The Apostle James states this clearly:

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?                   James 2:14-26

The following is an open rebuke to the Pharisees, but Jesus is clearly saying that His teaching is from God and that that teaching is the Torah.

“My teaching is not from myself; it comes from the one who sent me; and if anyone is prepared to do His will, He will know whether my teaching is from God or whether my doctrine is my own.  When a man’s doctrine is his own he is hoping to get honor for himself; but when he is working for the honor of the one who sent him, then he is sincere and by no means an imposter.  Did not Moses give you the Law (Torah)?  And yet not one of you keeps the Law (Torah)?

John 7:17-18

Notice the reference “to do.” it obviously means to act, and the Greek word used here is poieó which means “do” this is Jesus saying, “obey” the same word used in the Torah as Hear and Obey is Shema, which also means to Hear and Do, it means to do both.  He is speaking of His teachings, that which one would hear, once you have heard then you must be prepared, “to do His will.”  Whose will?  His fathers (Yehovah’s) will, and what is Yehovah’s will?

The Preacher in Ecclesiastes said this:

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14

What does God Himself say?

“For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy.” (Emphasis Mine)

Leviticus 11:44

What does Peter the Apostle say?

“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.  And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear…”                                                                       1 Peter 1:15-16

Other Passages saying Be Holy: Lev. 11:45, Lev 19:2, Lev. 20:7, Lev 20:26, Lev 21:8, Deut 23:14

What does the Apostle Paul say?

28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law, 29 Is He the God of hte Jews only? is He not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of. the Gentiles also; 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law (Torah) through faith? God forbid; yea, we establish the law (Torah).

Romans 3:28-31

Paul is speaking about being made just or acceptable to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, which is how the gentiles were able to come to faith, does that mean that the Torah (the Law of Moses) is now void and not applicable?  Paul states emphatically, “God forbid!”  It IS applicable and must be established in the lives of everyone who wants to be a part of God’s assembly?  This is what Paul is saying.

I know it sounds simple, but the question arises, how do we consecrate or sanctify ourselves?  What does that mean?  The Psalmist states in Psalm 19 that, “the Word of God converts the soul,” and every single person assumes that this includes the New Testament, but that would be an inaccurate assumption.  It is referring to the Torah.”

The law (Torah) of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Psalm 19:7-11

The Law is perfect?  The Testimony is sure?  The Statutes are right?  The Commandment Pure?  These are obvious references to the Covenant, what we all call the “old testament,” this is specifically referring to the Torah.  But isn’t a Testament the same as a Testimony?  So, we are talking about God’s testimony in the Old Testament, right?  How are God’s people to become true converts unless we take God’s testimony seriously and listen to its instruction as being for us, God’s people, if we don’t even acknowledge it as important for us today; Relegating it to the past and only for the Jews?  In Matthew Chapter 5 Jesus himself clarifies this to the people and sets the bar even higher.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the Law (Torah), or the prophets (Nevi’im): I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law (Torah), till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Matthew 5:17-22

Before I get into the Ritual of Yom Kippur I want to transmit some basic understanding of the bible from a Hebrew perspective and some history.  The “Old Testament,” (a phrase that is misleading in and of itself) is made up of three parts:  Torah = Instructions; Nevi’im = Prophets; and Ketuvim = Writings.  This is where the acronym Tanakh comes from.  It is the original Hebrew name for God’s Word.  TNK = Torah, Nevi’im and Ketuvim.

Also, a key influencer of the Churches continued rejection of the “Old Testament” originates in Marcionism a movement founded by its namesake Marcion of Sinope.  It was he who had significant influence on the development of New Testament Canon and saw the God of the “old Testament” as inferior.  He it was who created the idea of Old and New Testaments and whose teachings were rendered heretical.  His movement and attitude are still prevalent in the church today.

Wisdom is Power & Power is Wisdom | The Yom Kippur Ritual

Were there aspects of Torah Law that Jesus did fulfil?  Indeed!  Namely the Sacrifice for Sin, the Guilt offering and the necessity for the Temple sacrifice that took place on Yom Kippur.  That offering was done each year in order to stay God’s judgement until the next year; it essentially reset the situation for the Tribes of Israel.

The ritual required the High Priest to enter the Holy of Holies where the ark of the Covenant dwelt, sprinkled 7 drops of blood from a sacrificed Bull and a Goat upon the Altar and the upon the Mercy seat that was atop the Ark of the Covenant.  The ritual required two goats, they cast lots to determine which goat would be sacrificed and which would be the scapegoat.  This is where the idea of the scapegoat comes from.  The High Priest, representing the children of Israel, would place his hand on the scapegoat’s head and confess all the faults of the Sons of Israel, then the scapegoat was let go into the desert, being sent to Azazel.  This is how God made the Watchers (Fallen Angels) responsible.

“He is to receive two goats for a sacrifice for sin and a ram for a holocaust from the community of the sons of Israel.  After offering the bull as a sacrifice for his own sin, and performing the rite of atonement for himself and his family Aaron must take the two goats and set them before YHWH at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.  He is to draw lots for the two goats and allot one to YHWH and the other to Azazel.  Aaron is to offer up the goat whose lot was marked For YHWH, and offer it as a sacrifice for sin.  The goat whose lot was marked For Azazel shall be set before YHWH, still alive to perform the rite of atonement over it, sending it out into the desert to Azazel.”                                                    Leviticus 16:5-10

This very ritual reveals and confirms what is written in the Book of Enoch which I will include in just a moment.  The ritual is a significant part of the plan of God to protect His creation from the same corruption that took place in the Garden of Eden and all that happened before the flood.

After entering the HOLY OF HOLIES in a sacred manner with the blood of the Bull the High Priest, girded with the proper holy vestments, proceeds to perform the RITE OF ATONEMENT.  It is important to understand a bit about this ritual in order to understand the greater context.

“Then he must take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the eastern side of the throne of mercy; in front of the throne of mercy he must sprinkle this blood seven times with his finger.  He then must immolate the goat for the sacrifice or the sin of the people and take its blood through the veil.  With this blood he is to do as with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it on the throne of mercy and in front of it.  This is how he is to perform the rite of atonement over the sanctuary for the uncleanness of the sons of Israel, for their transgressions and for all their sins.”                                                       Leviticus 16:14-16

Who is Azazel and Why is He in the Bible?

The extremely telling part of this ritual is the inclusion of this other entity juxtaposed to YHWH. Who is this Azazel and why is his name included in the most sacred ritual of the children of Israel each year?  You will not find any information in the bible itself on this entity, but you will find the important reason for this ritual in the following excerpt from the book of Enoch.

8.1 And Azazel taught men to make swords, and daggers, and shields, and breastplates. And he showed them the metals of the earth, and the art of working them, and gold and silver bracelets and ornaments, and the art of making up the eyes with antimony and eye-paint, and of beautifying the face, and the most precious and choice stones, and all kinds of coloured dyes. And the world was forever changed. 8.2 And there was great impiety, and much fornication, and they went astray, and all their ways became corrupt.8.3 And furthermore, their leader, Shemyaza, taught spells against the mind, and the use of cut roots of plants, and Armaros magical skills and the release of spells, and Barakel taught astrologers, and Kokabel portents of the stars, and Tamiel taught portents of the weather, and Shahariel taught the path of the Moon. And they all began to reveal these mysteries to their wives and their children.8.4 And, at the destruction on the Earth, men cried out, and their voices reached Heaven.

9.1 And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael and Gabriel, looked down from Heaven, and saw the mass of blood that was being shed on the Earth, and all the iniquity that was being done on the Earth.9.2 And they said to one another: 'Let the devastated Earth cry out with the sound of their cries unto the Gate of Heaven.9.3 And now, to you, O Holy Ones of Heaven, the souls of men complain, saying: "Bring our complaint before the Most High." '9.4 And they said to their Lord, the King: "Lord of Lords, God of Gods, King of Kings! Your glorious throne endures for all the generations of the world, and Your Name is Holy and praised for all generations of the world, and is blessed and praised!9.5 You have made everything, and power over everything is Yours. And everything is uncovered, and open, in front of You, and You see everything, and there is nothing that can be hidden from You.

9.6 See then what Azazel has done; how he has taught all iniquity, on the Earth, and revealed the Eternal Secrets which were made in Heaven.9.7 And Shemyaza has made known spells, he to whom You gave authority to rule over those who are with him.

9.8 And they went into the daughters of men together, lay with those women, became unclean, and revealed to them these sins.9.9 And the women bore giants, and thereby the whole Earth has been filled with blood and iniquity.9.10 And now behold, the souls which have died cry out and complain, unto the Gate of Heaven, and their lament has ascended, and they cannot go out in the face of the iniquity which is being committed on the Earth.9.11 And You know everything, before it happens, and You know this, and what concerns each of them. But You say nothing to us. What ought we to do with them, about this?"

10.1 And then the Most High, the Great and Holy One, spoke, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech, and said to him:10.2 "Say to him, in My Name; "Hide yourself", and reveal to him the end, which is coming, because the whole Earth will be destroyed. A deluge is about to come on all the Earth; and what is in it will be destroyed.10.3 And now teach him, so that he may escape, and his offspring may survive for the whole Earth."10.4 "And further", the Lord said to Raphael, "Bind Azazel by his hands and his feet and throw him into the darkness. And split open the desert, which is in Dudael, and throw him there.10.5 And, throw on him jagged and sharp stones, and cover him with darkness. And let him stay there for ever. And cover his face so that he may not see the light.10.6 And so that, on the Great Day of Judgement, he may be hurled into the fire.10.7 And restore the Earth which the Angels have ruined. And announce the restoration of the Earth. For I shall restore the Earth, so that not all the sons of men shall be destroyed through the mystery of everything which the Watchers made known, and taught to their sons.10.8 And the whole Earth has been ruined by the teaching of the works of Azazel, and against him write down; all sin."

It seems that Shemyaza and Azazel are the same entity because the numerous references make that clear.  Notice the last verse.  In other translations the text reads, “to him ascribe; all sin.”

Since this ritual is recorded in our bibles, this gives complete credibility to Enoch, confirming the above story to be fact.  Why is this important?  It’s important because this information gives us better context, context that without, we as God’s children, are left with too many questions making it difficult to discern between Holy and Profane, reality and myth, truth and lies.  Why certain things are Holy or acceptable to God, and why certain things are profane or unacceptable to God.  If we are His people, shouldn’t this be important to us?  If we are to be pleasing to Him, how can we say we are His people and not know what and why He gave us the instructions He gave by His own hand through His servant Moses; the Torah?

I understand that many of you who love God and study His word are thinking of all of the passages in Paul’s books that seem to contradict what I am saying here, but I have studies on those too, and this study alone makes clear that If we are to know God, we must know His Testimony and keep it.  At some point we have to realize that there are forces at work, and have been since the beginning to opposed God, deceive His people, and create another narrative; hiding the truth of this history and reality.

I’ll give an example.  The Torah teaches us that certain foods are unclean and that we are not to consume them.  Nobody thinks anything of chowing down on some shrimp, Pepperoni Pizza, or fried bacon for breakfast, and most practicing Christians have been taught that it’s okay because the Old Testament instruction forbidding us from consuming those unclean things doesn’t apply to us.

But now as I learned just a few days ago, the powers that be are putting vaccines in those particular foods (pork and shrimp).  They tried to immunize the whole world with the Covid vaccine but some people mostly Christians were wise to it, so they couldn’t get everyone.  Now they are going to circumvent choice and will and just put the vaccines in the food.  God knows the end from the beginning, He knows it all.  Doesn’t it make sense that we believe that and trust Gods instructions, that He will protect?  God knows how to protect His own.  But what of these people who Jesus tells, “depart, I never knew you, ye workers iniquity.”  These are people who are not listening and obeying God’s Torah.  To be a worker of iniquity means to disobey constantly, knowingly.  Jesus himself said that He is the sent one, that He does nothing of himself but only says what His father taught him.

“Jesus said: When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He and that I do nothing of myself; what the Father has taught me is what I preach; he who sent me is with me and has not left me to myself, for I always do what pleases him.”

John 8:28-29

Another example of believers being left out because “the Master” does not know them is in Luke:

23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Luke 13:22-27

Ask yourself, Am I a worker of iniquity?  “He that has an ear to hear let him hear!” A lot of people are, but not by conscious choice, they are victims of a deceptive religious system in place to keep you in the dark.  My aim is to give those that love God and His truth the information needed to make informed choices.  How can any of us make the better choices unless we know the whole context and the whole truth?  This is what Jesus meant when He said:

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

He gives us the Holy Spirit to lead us to all truth:

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

John 16:13

I started this study with the following verse and I will conclude with the same:

Then Moses said unto Aaron, this is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace."

Leviticus 10:3

The significant words in this verse is "come nigh me." How do God's people come near to God? By giving Him our full attention, and if we are going to pay attention to our God this means we are listening to His Words with the intent to obey.

Prologue

All verses quoted in this study are from the KJV bible, I myself study from the Jerusalem Bible which includes additional books most bibles do not include, i.e., Maccabee’s 1 & 2, Baruch, Judith and others.  I put this study together this way specifically for my Apostolic/Pentecostal brethren.  In my journey for truth I found that what is left of the pure Spanish Apostolic Church is the highest level of biblical truth being practiced within the confines of limited contextual and Torah knowledge.  The pure Spanish Apostolic churches still use the Reina-Valera bible, many from the 1962 printing, that still retains the name of God; Jehova, pronounced Yehovah.  Also, pure Spanish Apostolic Assemblies have not succumbed to the practice of Christmas, Easter and other pagan mixed holidays.

I have found in my long spiritual quest for truth that the church has been infiltrated by the Kundalini spirit which is an imitation of the Holy Spirit of God.  This imposter spirit is prevalent and pervasive in the church world, but many are unaware of this fact.  There is an active agenda to keep the Children of Light from the power and protection of the Torah.  The Torah is God’s Word as Jesus is, God will still protect people who are sincere followers of Jesus, but I would not want to risk being told, “depart from me I never knew you,” just because my Pastor says all I need is Jesus and him crucified.

Being saved is one thing, that means you may get to heaven, you’ll be "least" but you’ll get there.  That Pastor who is teaching you that all you need is Jesus and this gets you off the hook for the many things the Eternal Law of God teaches us not to do, he too will be least. But you will be missing out on knowing God the way those who are hearing and obeying know him, intimately.

I pray that you are convinced of the importance of Hearing and Obeying the Torah, that you find in you the ZEAL to draw near.  Yes, Jesus was the Word of God manifested in the flesh, but He didn’t die on the cross so you could walk away from hearing God’s Torah.  He died so that whatever was keeping you from it would be moved out of the way, namely the law of sin and death.  Knowing God means knowing what is important to HIM, throughout the bible He makes it clear, He wants us to know Him.  One of the important aspects of knowing Him is knowing the difference between what is Holy and what is Profane.  Christmas, Easter they are not Holy, they both originate from paganism and have been mixed in with Jesus story, that makes them profane in God’s eyes.

God gave us Holy days to celebrate so why don’t we just keep those?  Passover, Unleavened Bread, Shavuot which is Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets/Yom Teruah, Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur, Tabernacles/Sukkot and yes even Chanukah, the feast of Dedication.
